Overview

Running Elastic at scale requires more than cluster expansion. It demands architectural discipline, workload awareness, and intentional optimization.

In this live session, Senior Solutions Architect from Elastic, Mark Vovchuk shares real-world insights from working across observability, security, and large-scale Elastic deployments.

This is your opportunity to engage directly with Mark—ask questions, validate architectural decisions, and gain practical guidance grounded in hands-on Elastic experience.

What You’ll Learn
  • How production Elastic clusters evolve at scale
  • Avoiding premature optimization and architectural lock-in
  • Cost-aware scaling strategies across hot, warm, cold tiers
  • Performance tuning grounded in real ingestion patterns
  • Designing Elastic for observability and security workloads
Real World Application

Many teams attempt to optimize before understanding their actual data behavior.
The result: rigid architectures, wasted budget, and unnecessary complexity.

Mark will share a practical approach shaped by hands-on experience at Elastic—
Start with clarity. Measure reality. Optimize with purpose.

Practical Insights
  • Aligning infrastructure with ingestion rates and retention needs
  • Scaling observability and SIEM workloads efficiently
  • Identifying bottlenecks before they impact performance
  • Designing flexible architectures that grow with your data
